For a cocktail party without dinner to follow, offer five to six different appetizers, including at least two that involve meat or seafood and at least two that are hot.

Storage
Instead of canisters, store varieties of sugar and flour in rectangular containers. Label the container, and empty the bags of sugar and flour into the containers, and store them in the pantry. This keeps the countertops clear, and stores the flour and sugar in an airtight environment.
